Refer-A-Friend Promotion
Terms & Conditions

​1. ​Eligibility
​
An existing Member who has a Member Account with Egoista and who has complied with the Terms and Conditions for Members (an “Existing Member”) may refer and invite as many of his/her Friends to join Egoista.
​
A “Friend” is a person who is new to Egoista (i.e., they have never had an active or inactive Egoista Member Account) and qualifies for an Egoista membership (including that they are not minors nor natural persons with limited or no legal capacity).
Any referrals that we believe (in our sole discretion) to have been submitted or accepted fraudulently or contrary to the spirit of this Refer-A-Friend Promotion (the “Promotion”) will be disqualified and any Reward awarded will be withdrawn and no correspondence will be entered into.

2. ​How to Refer a Friend
​
Existing Members can refer a Friend by logging into their account in the Egoista app and accessing their unique referral code (the “Referral Code”). Existing Members can then share the Referral Code to Friends. A Friend will need to include the Referral Code when he/she signs up for a Member Account and starts a free trial membership with Egoista.

By sharing the Referral Code with a Friend, the Existing Member agrees to Egoista and its third party processors (including Stripe): (i) processing his/her name and other personal data for the purposes of processing the referral or otherwise in relation to the Promotion; (ii) sharing his/her name with the Friend; (iii) processing the Friend’s personal data for the purposes of processing the referral or otherwise in relation to the Promotion. If you do not agree to (i) to (iii) in this paragraph, then you should not enter this Promotion.

3. ​Reward
For each Friend who signs up for a Member Account with Egoista and starts a free trial membership with Egoista, the Existing Member will receive seven (7) days full access to our Platform for free (the “Reward”). The Reward will be added to the Existing Member’s account, and the Existing Member will need to claim the Reward within one (1) month of the Reward being added to his/her account.

If the Existing Member is currently on a seven (7) day free trial membership, his/her free trial membership will be extended by a further seven (7) days at the end of his/her current free trial membership period (after which the trial membership will automatically be converted to the membership plan chosen by the Existing Member at the start of the trial unless cancelled before the end of the trial membership period).

If the Existing Member is currently on a membership plan, his/her billing cycle will be extended by seven (7) days for the relevant billing cycle during which the Existing Member claimed the Reward.

Rewards are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

4. ​Conditions
​
Egoista will only honour the first Referral Code through which a Friend starts a free trial membership with Egoista and which is accepted and processed by Egoista. In other words, if multiple Existing Members have referred the same Friend, only the Existing Member whose Referral Code is used first will receive the Reward. The Existing Member will only be eligible to receive a Reward if a Friend starts a free trial membership using the Referral Code. All other referrals will automatically be invalidated.

Creating duplicate accounts or referring oneself to earn Rewards is a violation of these terms and will result in disqualification.
This Promotion is for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Existing Members may not use the Referral Code for commercial advertising, lead generation, or in connection with any search engine marketing. The use of Egoista's name, logos, or trademarks for marketing purposes is strictly prohibited. Existing Members may not offer any additional gifts, coupons, or other incentives to Friends as a means to encourage them to use his/her Referral Code.
It is a condition of this Promotion that Existing Members have obtained the clear and affirmative consent of his/her Friend(s) to receive marketing materials and other messages containing the Referral Code from you by SMS text, WhatsApp, email, social media, and all other methods.
5. ​General
The Egoista Members Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice apply to this Promotion and are incorporated by reference. Any disputes arising from this Promotion will be resolved in accordance with the main Members Terms & Conditions. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Egoista reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend this Promotion or to change these terms and conditions at any time in its sole discretion. Any Rewards earned prior to a change, suspension, or cancellation will be honoured. Egoista reserves the right to revoke any Reward and disqualify any Existing Member or Friend in the event of suspected fraud or any violation of these terms.​​
